SKILLS Trained in project management SALARY/RATE £35 - £40,000 P.A.+ Benefits START DATE ASAP JOB DESCRIPTION A local authority employing circa 300 people are merging with another local authority and about to undergo reorganisation they are therefore seeking additional resources for their project management teams. The Project Managers will support service group lead officers throughout the life of the project in the form of driving forward the delivery of the project milestones and outcomes, monitoring, and reporting on project progress. The successful applicant will manage the assigned project’s risks and issues, operate within an agreed reporting structure, communicate regularly with all key stakeholders to improve understanding of the project and overall programme. Ideally, the Project Manager should be appropriately trained in project management techniques and processes. A PRINCE 2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent is desirable.
